Checkpoint website review

A fresh pair of eyes on every page of your website.

I browse your website as a real visitor would, reviewing each page, section, and interaction for anything that looks inconsistent, feels awkward, or gets in the way.

You receive a clear list of findings with annotated screenshots, so you can see each issue in context and decide what to fix first.

What I look for

The details your customers notice, even when they cannot name them.

Checkpoint focuses on the website as it appears and behaves on the surface. It is a careful visual and usability review rather than an automated scan.

Visual consistency

Differences in colours, spacing, typography, buttons, cards, icons, imagery, and repeated components.

Interactions

Hover, focus, dropdown, menu, form, and button states that behave or appear differently from one area to another.

Clarity and flow

Confusing navigation, weak visual hierarchy, unclear calls to action, crowded sections, and journeys that feel harder than they should.

Responsive presentation

Content that wraps badly, overlaps, feels cramped, or loses its intended structure on common screen sizes.

Content presentation

Obvious typos, inconsistent labels, broken-looking content, awkward line breaks, and missing or unsuitable imagery.

Overall polish

Anything else that looks unfinished, distracts from trust, or makes the experience feel less considered.

A typical finding

Small differences can make a site feel unreliable.

Two dropdown menus look identical until you hover over them. One uses different spacing, colours, or borders from the other. This becomes an obvious style inconsistency once it is seen.

The Checkpoint report records the affected page and interaction, includes a screenshot highlighting the difference, and explains the issue in plain language.

How it works

A straightforward review with a useful result.

01: Browse

I work through the site

I visit the agreed public pages and inspect their sections, navigation, links, forms, and visible interaction states.

02: Record

I capture what feels wrong

Each finding is noted with its location and a screenshot that marks the visual issue wherever that helps.

03: Report

You receive one clear list

The findings are compiled into a practical report that you can use internally or pass directly to your designer or developer.

Clear eyes, clear scope.

Checkpoint is ideal before a launch, after a redesign, or whenever a familiar website needs an impartial review.

  • One-week turnaround: the review is completed within one week of acceptance and payment.
  • Desktop, tablet, and mobile: the €300 fee covers all three screen sizes.
  • Lighthouse check: an automated snapshot is included alongside the manual review.
  • Basic SEO check: page titles, descriptions, and whether the visible content matches them.
  • Basic cookie check: a record of the cookies observed while browsing the website.
  • Published online: the completed results and relevant screenshots are published online.
  • Fixes are not included: the €300 fee covers the review and report only. Any remedial work is quoted separately.
  • E-commerce product detail pages are optional: the standard review does not include every individual product page on an e-commerce website. If you would like every product detail page reviewed, they can be added for €1 per page.

The SEO, cookie, and Lighthouse checks are basic observations, not full technical, accessibility, legal-compliance, security, performance, or code audits.
